Meet the Artist - Susan Hogan
Susan's work has been exhibited in many galleries and museums
in New Jersey
including the Montclair Museum, the Morris Museum,
the Noyes Museum,
and Ellarslie, the Trenton City Museum.
In Bucks County, Susan has recently
been included in juried shows at Phillips Mill and Sculpture New Hope.

Meet the Artist Gina D'Emilio
Local
artist Gina D'Emilio is a sculptor who works in mixed media. She
manipulates the female figure to present women's issues as subject
matter. D'Emilio's art deals with the sheer vulnerability of the female
as object and person.
By
addressing the physiological states associated with emotional abuse,
invalidation, and physical changes in the body, D'Emilio forces the
viewer to examine the inner workings of their own lives.
D'Emilio
uses found objects in her work, particularly drift wood as a metaphor
for stability. Her choice of delicate items such as thread and women's
stocking helps to parallel the medium's emotive texture with the
emotions she is trying to evoke.

Yardley Business Association (YBA) will be sponsoring an Evening with Chocolate
Guests will be treated to decadent chocolate goodies from local businesses as well as well-known chocolatiers, such as Dove Chocolate. Some of the chocolate will be available for sale as well. Sampling will take place from 7-8pm, with the movie starting at 8 pm.
Tickets are $25.00 each; 2 for $40.00
Our chocolate was made special for the event by Newtown Chocolate. Everyone came back for seconds, remarking it was the best in the event.
